Model Based Inversion for Pulse Thermography,of the heat flow. By solving a large linear inversion problem we are able to determine the strengths of the buried reflectors and create a concrete representation of observed defects. Results from this approach are compared to more traditional analysis approaches for flash thermography.

System Identification of Structures with Incomplete Modal Information,licability and effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by numerical simulation of a chain model. Identification of the mode shapes, however, is still a challenging problem to be resolve in the proposed method from incomplete modal information data.
