Materials Constraints in the High Temperature Industrial Technologies,ed combined cycle applications, and in direct coal-fired gas turbines, and also excludes gasification systems, and M.H.D.. The requirements of materials relevant to their exposure to steam, such as in power generation systems, are dealt with in section 4.1.2.
