Fermi particle acceleration in relativistic shocks: Preliminary nonlinear results,onsistently calculates the ratio of specific heats in the shocked plasma and the effects of particle escape. We present preliminary results showing the absolute acceleration efficiencies and spectra for a range of parameters and show that relativistic shocks can be extremely efficient particle accelerators.
