Characterization of cDNAs which Encode Enzymes Involved in Chromoplast Differentiation and Carotenoi nucleus and the plastid (Mullet, 1988; Taylor, 1989). It is well known that the etioplast/chloroplast development requires the formation of pigments and proteins which are, together with other components, necessary for the assembly of an intact photosynthetic apparatus.
