A Review of Charmed Particle Production in Hadronic Collisions, Charmed mesons occurs with a total cross section of 10 to 20 microbarns. Charmed mesons and Baryons have also been observed at the CERN ISR with cross sections that appear to be considerably larger. Some recent experimental limits on the production of B particles are also reviewed.

The symmetry properties and the representations of E. are reviewed, the symmetry breaking classified, and the dynamical breaking of the weak interaction gauge group is discussed, all in some detail using Dynkin’s representation theory.
