Improved Biosensor Device to Diagnose Malaria Based on One-Dimensional Photonic Crystal,can be identified with the transmission peak. The study has been further extended to improve the sensitivity of the biosensor by taking an infected blood sample sandwiched between metamaterials. The sensitivity of the improved biosensor has been studied with the thickness and plasma frequency of the metamaterial.
