Optimal , Control for a Variable-Speed Wind Turbine Using PSO Evolutionary Algorithm results of the proposed method (PSO-H.) are compared with the conventional sliding mode control (SMC). The comparison results reveal that the proposed controller is more effective in reducing the tracking error and chattering.

A New Robust Control Based on Active Disturbance Rejection Controller for Speed Sensorless Inductionts, voltages, and speed). A second-order of MRAS-based sliding mode estimator is designed for speed estimation. The proposed schemes are implemented using MATLAB simulation, which improve the system robustness against motor parameter variations and increase the performance of the speed loop controller.
