Fuzzy and PID Controllers Performance Analysis for a Combined-Cycle Thermal Power Plant,e thermal power plant. The results show that the fuzzy controller has a better performance than the conventional PI controller. Indeed, the fuzzy controller allows minimizing fossil fuel consumption, which is one of its most significant advantages, because the operating cost is reduced, and the greenhouse gases are mitigated.

To discriminate between four different movements of the upper extremities, the pattern recognition algorithm used was a linear discriminant analysis together with a windowing and feature extraction algorithm.

Evaluation of Various CODECS on the Quality of the Video Considering Scalability Parameters,rs. For the development, videos in raw format are used, which will be encoded using the H.264, H.265 and VP9 codecs. In the coding process, different values are applied for each type of scalability. Finally, the results obtained are analyzed to establish comparisons between the different codecs used
