Intersections and Limits of Regenerative Sets,he term ‘Markov set’, whereas Krylov and Yushkevich [1965] use ‘Markov random set’ for a stochastic process related to a regenerative set. Breiman [1968] and Kingman [1972] focus on the indicator function of ., using the terms ‘renewal process’ and ‘regenerative phenomenon’, respectively. We will stick to ‘regenerative set’.

Energy, and Intersections of Markov Chains,ous but simpler problem. Upper bounds will be obtained on intersection probabilities for discrete time Markov chains. This will be applied to obtain a Wiener type test for intersections of random walks within given sets.

Metrics on Compositions and Coincidences among Renewal Sequences,n of ... When .. and Y. are jointly independent and identically distributed; the limit is non normal.
