JHK Imaging of QSO Hosts and Companionssystematic offsets at z≤0.3. The QSO luminosity profiles are complex and reveal some of their tidal disturbance and star-formation history. At high redshift, the models match well, and indicate compact groups of galaxies with young populations.

Adaptive Optics Observations of Quasar Hostss will complement space based observation. Here we present first results from a pilot project to study quasar hosts with adaptive optics, and discuss the need for better defined samples of distant AGN and galaxies suitable for adaptive optics study.
