Henkin Quantifiers,In the paper we give a survey of all known results (as far as we have been able to determine) concerning logics with Henkin quantifiers, known also as finite partially ordered quantifiers, branching or branched quantifiers. We concentrate on logical problems, presenting philosophical and linguistic discussions of the subject only briefly.

Computable Quantifiers and Logics over Finite Structures,We explore the notion of computable quantifiers over finite structures and use them to give a unified treatment of the theory of computable queries in databases and logics capturing complexity classes. We use this framework also to discuss generalized Ehrenfeucht—Fraïssé games and their applications to complexity theory.
