Qualitative Modeling Using Natural Language: An Application in System Dynamics,representing systems that is language independent and computationally efficient is developed. This methodology was used to build a prototype system, NATSIM. The design of NATSIM is described and the functionality of the system is demonstrated within the context of the production-distribution domain.
