Investigation of Mechanical Properties and Tribological Performance of Al-B4C Metal Matrix Compositesimprovement in resistance to wear further confirms the utility of Al-B.C MMCs for suitable engineering applications. The processing technique used to manufacture the Al-B.C MMCs is stir casting. The successful manufacturing of MMCs with B.C as a reinforcement further confirms the suitability of process used to synthesize.

Microstructure and Non-destructive Evaluation of Aluminum 6009 Alloy Sheets Joined by Friction Stir Weldingement of tool rotational speed led to reduction of impact strength, whereas increase of weld traverse speed resulted in improvement of impact strength. On the other hand, combination of lower tool rotation speed and higher weld traverse speed provided better hardness, with maximum hardness obtained in the weld’s advancing side.

Determining Impact Strength of Extrusion-Based 3D-Printed PEEK Using Multi-criteria Decision-Making (MCDM)making (MCDM) method to determine the best combination of process parameters for 3D printing PEEK and resulting in improved impact strength − 230.4 kJ/m2 while considering factors such as build orientation—XZ, print density—100%, and chamber temperature—50 °C, which resulted in a print time of 98 min and 3.64 g of material usage.
