DMIT Salts: Anion Conductors, orbitals of C=C. On forming ion radical salts, these molecules act as acceptor rather than donor. The oxidation states are not simple and change with the counter donor molecules. Furthermore, HOMO and LUMO of M(dmit). are close in energy. This leads to a mixed contribution of HOMO and LUMO to the conductance.
