Two-Stage Optimal Design in Concrete,n (SQP) along with a FE-solver for linear and nonlinear analysis of structures. In order to achieve at a cost minimal design two optimization problems are formulated: one on a global (structural) level and another one on a local (cross-sectional) level. Two formulations of the above problems are presented.
