Impact of Transient Response of Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier for OPS/WDM and Its Mitigation,roposed the mitigation by adopting special class of EDF which have larger active erbium core. Our methodology can supplement conventional electrical controlling measures against transient responses which have insufficient response speed in the application for short optical packet of sub-micro seconds long.

MatPlanWDM: An Educational Tool for Network Planning in Wavelength-Routing Networks,d wavelengths available. The tool is implemented as a MATLAB toolbox. The set of heuristic algorithms can be easily extended. A graphical interface is provided to plot the results obtained from different heuristics and compare them with the optimal solution in small-scale topologies.

Experimental Implementation of Grid Enabled ASON/GMPLS Networks,twork. We propose and experimentally evaluate an implementation for a middleware interface as well as a novel scheme that reduces blocked job requests due to lack of network resources in such environment.

80Gb/s Multi-wavelength Optical Packet Switching Using PLZT Switch,shows a fundamental experiment of the Multi-wavelength OPS network using a PLZT switch. PLZT switch provide a fast optical switching with low noise, independent polarization, and low drive voltage. In this paper, we describe the detail of the experiments and results.
