Experience with Bifonazole/Urea in Germany,raphically a dry and almost carious destruction of the nails, which become rough, thick, friable and uneven. This disease can be called the dry nail scab. At the same time it attacks the root or the lateral margins, at times even the entire nail.

Hospital Experience with Bifonazole/Urea, keratolyses were too aggressive for the surrounding healthy tissue, or ineffective due to a too low dosage, or pharmaceutically unstable. There were added difficulties with administration, resulting in poor compliance.

Epidemiology and Pathology of Onychomycoses, authors have found an incidence of 2%–13% [20, 23]. Fungal infections of the nails have been reported in 6.5%–27% of miners [9, 21]. Some 1.5% of all patients attending dermatologic centers have an onychomycosis [4].

Problems of Compliance in Patients with Onychomycoses,ns or instructions which the patient follows, at least in the ideal case. Problems of compliance arise from the discrepancy between ideal and actuality, from the deviation of the patient from the recommended path to recovery.
