How Important are the Equations of Motion in a Chaotic System?, for systems started from a more or less standard form. We find the same tendency with crude methods, although the time to reach that singularity from the usual initial conditions is less accurately reproduced with cruder methods.

Spectral Analysis of Orbits Via Discrete Fourier Transforms,hich were studied earlier using the NAFF method. The new algorithms reproduce the test orbits accurately, satisfy constraints which are consequences of Hamiltonian theory, and are faster. We discuss the rate at which the Fourier series converge, and practical limits on the degree of accuracy that can reasonably be achieved.
