The chapter reviews many of the cryptographic algorithms in use and recommends those that will provide high assurance systems with adequate protection. M. T. Dokulil,J. Padisâkors show that substantial reductions can be obtained in garbage collection time (up to 29X) and that the overall execution time can be reduced by more than 10%.
