Numerical Simulation of High Frequency Scattering Waves Using Exact Controllability Methods,pace) which has quite good convergence properties. Discrete Boltzmann Equation with Multiple Collisions,], that is by integration of conservation equations on some triangles. When the initial mass is not “small”, we show that the Tartar and Crandall method [3] can be extended to all models when only binary collisions are considered, but cannot be applied for models with multiple collisions.

Large Time, Weak Solutions to Reacting Euler Equations,results from the chemical reaction. Numerical calculations show that this increase can be very significant; there remains an interesting challenge to obtain large time existence where uniform decay of the reactant does not occur.

Flux Formulation using a Fully 2D Approximate Roe Riemann Solver,(RS) [3], The building flux is based on the Local Lax-Friedrichs (LLF) and R.oe Fix (RF) algorithms introduced by C.W. Shu and S. Osher in [8] but extended to a three state solution prescribed at the gravity center of each triangle in order to satisfy locally the entropy increase condition across shock waves.

Many basic results obtainable by this method are new. Here we describe some of these results.

Convergence of an Explicit Upwind Van Leer Scheme on a Triangular Mesh for Hyperbolic Equations,In this paper, we present a method to prove the convergence of an explicit Van Leer scheme for hyperbolic equations. We use a triangular mesh. First, we describe a method for the linear case and then we study the nonlinear case.
