Dissipative superluminous Brillouin solitons in an optical-fiber ring cavity,o actual experiments in a single-mode optical-fiber. This comparison recently allowed us to predict [1] and to perform the first experimental observation [2] of the “superluminous” Brillouin soliton backward propagating with respect to the cw pump in an optical-fiber ring-cavity.

Equilibrium and nonequilibrium statistical mechanics of a nonlinear model of DNA,rticular, the analytical and numerical results do not exhibit a melting transition but instead a state of pseudo-equilibrium distinct from the state expected from equilibrium thermodynamics. Finally numerical results show that energy transport is unlikely at biological temperatures.

Grossly, any process which makes increase this wave lenght has an antiarrhythmic effect. On the contrary, any process which makes decrease the wave lenght is going to favor reentries and arrhythmias.
