Granular Flows,ytical solutions, namely the granular solitary wave and the granular free overfall, are constructed to illustrate the phenomenon. Finally, the Savage–Hutter theory is generalized using Serre’s theory, producing a model for dry granular flows down an inclined plane where both bed-slope and bed-normal velocity effects are accounted for.
