New Media, Market Competition, and Media Diversity: An Examination of Taiwan’s Terrestrial TV Marketersity did not increase as minor inter-competition entered Taiwan’s market, while media diversity decreased when strong inter-competition entered the market. Furthermore, strong intra-media competition was found to be associated with increased media diversity.
