Coulomb blockade and Kondo effect in quantum dots,nce across the dot in a broad temperature range, which includes the Kondo temperature. Temperature dependence of the linear conductance in the Kondo regime is discussed in detail. We also consider a simple (but realistic) limit in which the differential conductance at a finite bias can be fully investigated.

However, it is not clear yet if these proposals can be extended to the fabrication of a quantum processor which would be “scalable”, a jargon term referring to the situation where fabrication costs scale sufficiently ”gently” with the number of quantum bits and gates that quantum computation can overpower its classical counterpart.

Momentum-resolved tunneling: Spectroscopic tool and basis for device applications,We briefly review possibilities to utilize momentum-resolved tunneling for novel spectroscopic and device applications.
