The Impact of New Conventional Weapons Technology on NATO Military Doctrine and Organization,evious efforts to come to grips with the matter have failed: studies have either stopped at the point where the impact on organization and structure was raised or, if they dealt with the problems of force structure, they did not take the new technology into account. This chapter suggests some directions for further examination.
