Scattering Models in Nuclear Systems, the system. Evidence has indeed been presented that the dynamical behaviour of the nucleus cannot be described in terms of only nucleonic degrees of freedom. Also in the kinematic regions of medium and high energies effects of special relativity are expected to play a role and accordingly a proper microscopic description of the nucleus is needed.
