Neuropsychoanalytical Research,This chapter will highlight what evidence there is for psychoanalytic concepts from neuroscientific research and whether psychodynamic ideas can be mapped and studied at the neurophysiological level. Finally, findings on the effectiveness of psychoanalytic therapy from brain imaging studies are also summarized.
