Networks and Dynamics: The Structure of the World We Live In,dynamic systems that act on networks include social, epidemiological, and transportation systems. This chapter gives an introduction to the analysis of nonlinear dynamics as it applies to such systems.

A heuristic search approach is proposed and implemented in the VISTA simulation-based framework. Computational results are presented on example networks to test convergence and equilibrium.
