Remarks,The previous sections have described how the non-uniform optical field (ONF) is used. The phenomena of the ONF are unique, not just about reducing their size. The uniqueness of the ONF could help in the realization of novel fabrication technique such as the near-field etching, which has not been achieved so far by any other technique.
