These instrument parts are all interdependent, and it is impossible to discuss them in strictly ordered isolation. Fluorine-19 NMR Spectra, over all, around 800 ppm, although most resonances of carbon-fluorine environments occur within a 300 ppm scan. Strong coupling to other nuclei results in long range effects and these (like all coupling effects) influence both the fluorine-19 spectrum and that of the other nucleus. Since .=½ the coupling patterns are easily deduced.

NMR Spectra from Other Nuclei,h abundance and sensitivity, such as fluorine-19 and phosphorus-31. Nitrogen NMR and oxygen NMR studies owe part of their extensiveness to the central chemical and biochemical importance of these elements: there are certainly easier NMR elements which have not attracted as much attention.
