Schallabsorption und -dispersion in Gasen,ter mit den recht fragwürdigen Resultaten, als man von ihnen nicht mehr als eine Bestätigung der Theorie erwartete, nach der die Schallabsorption nur durch Wärmeleitfähigkeit und Viskosität bestimmt sein sollte, also durch Materialkonstanten, die man auf direktem Wege sehr viel genauer und einzeln bestimmen konnte.
