书目名称 | Modelling radiocesium in lakes and coastal areas — new approaches for ecosystem modellers | 副标题 | A textbook with Inte | 编辑 | Lars Håkanson | 视频video | | 图书封面 | | 描述 | During the last 10 years, there has been a `revolution‘ inecosystem modelling. The generality and predictive power of our modelshave increased in a way that was inconceivable 10 years ago. This bookdescribes a new generation of practically useful models that predictas well as one can measure - if one measures well. And yet, they are driven by readily available driving variables and have ageneral structure that applies to most types of pollutants in aquaticsystems. The major reason for this development is, in fact, theChernobyl accident. Large quantities of radiocesium were released inApril/May 1986 as a pulse. To follow the pulse of radiocesium throughecosystem pathways has meant that important fluxes and mechanisms,i.e., ecosystem structures, have been revealed. It is important tostress that many of these new structures and equations are valid notjust for radiocesium, but for most types of contaminants, e.g. formetals, nutrients and organics. This means that the models, methods(of building and testing models) and equations described in this bookfor lakes and coastal areas should be of great interest also to otherecosystem modellers. .This book will be of considerable interest to: s | 出版日期 | Book 2002 | 关键词 | biology; ecology; ecosystem; environment; evolution; ecotoxicology; water quality and water pollution | 版次 | 1 | doi | https://doi.org/10.1007/0-306-46878-6 | isbn_softcover | 978-94-017-3857-6 | isbn_ebook | 978-0-306-46878-0 | copyright | Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht 2002 |
