On Static Stability of Elastic Nonconservative Systems with Small Damping,this result does not follow for nonconservative systems. The set of viscous damping forces that does not violate the stability of nonconservative system are described in form of necessary and sufficient conditions. Account have done for the case of finite numbers of degrees of freedom, but all results was kept for infinite numbers.
