Flexure Hinge-Based Parallel Manipulators Enabling High-Precision Micro Manipulations,s of typical flexure hinges are compared at first. Orthogonal parallel manipulators with a regular spatial translation of the moving platform are assessed afterwards. For a dimensioned flexure hinge and a selected parallel manipulator, a flexure hinge-based parallel manipulator is monolithically designed and analysed.

Mathematical Synthesis of Compliant Mechanism as Cochlear Implant,lear duct. Thus, the implant can follow the spiral-shaped cochlear duct without damaging the sensitive tissue of the basilar membrane. Some examples for hydraulic actuated cochlear implants based on compliant mechanisms technology are presented in this paper.
