Congo Red Decolorizing Bacteria from Paper Factory Effluent,Synthetic dyes usually consist of aromatic rings, methyl, methoxy, sulfo or nitro group. They are not readily degradable and can not be removed from water by conventional wastewater treatment systems (Anliker in Biodegradation of heterocyclic dyes by . 1990. Utah State University, Logan, 1979).

Bacterial Enzymes and Their Role in Decolorization of Azo Dyes,Azo dyes are one of the largest groups of textile dyes, extensively used for dyeing purposes. A significant proportion of these dyes were entering into the surrounding environment in the form of wastewater.
