The primary tool used to develop micro-total analysissystems (mu- TAS) has been micro-photolithographic patterning andmicromachining. These powerful tools of Micro System Technology (MSTor MEMS) have been applied in highly imaginative ways to developmicrochip chemical arrays, fully integrated pump and fluid manifolds, and electrokinetically driven micro-channel systems to be used forgenetic analysis, clinical diagnostics and environmental monitoring, and to integrate reactions as diverse as the polymerase chain reaction(PCR) and the large volume, partial oxidation of ammonia. This textillustrates the rapid expansion of the field, the extensive industrialinvolvement, the increasing number of participating researchers, theexpanding range of concepts and applications that utilize MST andmicrofluidic devices, and new MST-compatible plastic micro-machiningto meet the needs of the life science community. .This volume contai | 出版日期 | Conference proceedings 1998 | 关键词 | DNA; Oxidation; environment; microelectromechanical system (MEMS); optics; science | 版次 | 1 | doi | https://doi.org/10.1007/978-94-011-5286-0 | isbn_softcover | 978-94-010-6225-1 | isbn_ebook | 978-94-011-5286-0 | copyright | Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht 1998 |
