Optically Active Polymers , ROMP of Enantiomerically Pure Monomersin a very specific highly regular way. Some of the typical properties of such biomaterials are a consequence of the high stereospecificity of their main chain. Thus it is a great challenge for the synthetic polymer chemist to synthesize molecules similar to that natural building principle.
