Deformable Reconstruction of Histology Sections Using Structural Probability Mapsn datasets indicate that our method produces similar results compared to reference-based techniques on synthetic datasets. Moreover, it improves the smoothness of the reconstruction compared to standard registration techniques on real data.

A Probabilistic Approach to Quantification of Melanin and Hemoglobin Content in Dermoscopy Imagesopy images. Such information bears useful implications for analysis of skin hyperpigmentation, and for classification of skin diseases. The proposed method outperforms existing approaches while allowing for more stringent and probabilistic modeling than previously.
