Interventional Digital Tomosynthesis from a Standard Fluoroscopy System Using 2D-3D Registrationhowed a 1133% contrast-to-noise improvement compared to standard fluoroscopy. Patient results showed our method enabled visualisation of clinically relevant features: outline of the aorta, the aortic bifurcation and some aortic calcifications.

Denoising PET Images Using Singular Value Thresholding and Stein’s Unbiased Risk Estimatesed method uses the singular value thresholding concept and Stein’s unbiased risk estimate to optimize a soft thresholding rule. Results, obtained from 40 MRI-PET images, demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is able to denoise PET images successfully, while still maintaining the quantitative information.
