Flow Stress and Fracture Toughness Behavior of AA5083 Under Quasi-Static Loading,n rates (10. to 10./s) and flow stresses have been obtained for the corresponding strain rates. It is found that the aluminum alloy shows strain rate sensitivity in both tension and compression; however, this sensitivity was relatively more dominant in tension than in compression.
