Silencing the Output of Cerebellar Neurons Using Cell Type-Specific Genetic Deletion of Vesicular Gcan be silenced by impairing neurotransmitter release through conditional deletion of synaptic vesicular transporter genes. This approach is non-invasive, cell type-specific, and regionally unbiased, making it desirable for understanding the unique contributions of specific cerebellar neurons to circuit function in vivo.
