书目名称 | Mapping the Social Consequences of Alcohol Consumption | 编辑 | Harald Klingemann,Gerhard Gmel | 视频video | | 图书封面 | | 描述 | Research on alcohol-related consequences has traditionallyfocused mainly on health aspects of alcohol consumption or effectswhich can be more easily quantified or measured. It is evident thatalcohol has many consequences which can be characterised as `social‘in nature and which are not, or not only, medical and are directlyhealth-related. Such consequences include violence, crime, andpsychosocial factors. The increasing relevance of consequences ofalcohol consumption other than medical is also reflected in the secondEuropean Action Plan 2000-2004 of WHO, aiming at the preventionand reduction of harm done by alcohol to the health and wellbeing ofindividuals, families, and communities. .This book attempts to provide a comprehensive overview of socialconsequences of alcohol consumption on the individual, group, organisational, and societal level. It is a result of a two-yearcollaborative study under the leadership of WHO-Euro with theparticipation of alcohol researchers from Finland, Germany, Norway,Scotland, and Switzerland. Although the book was written by experts inthe field, it is targeted not only at scientists, but at all peopledealing with alcohol-related problems in practice. | 出版日期 | Book 2001 | 关键词 | World Health Organization; alcohol; health; prevention; suicide | 版次 | 1 | doi | https://doi.org/10.1007/978-94-015-9725-8 | isbn_softcover | 978-90-481-5626-9 | isbn_ebook | 978-94-015-9725-8 | copyright | Springer Science+Business Media B.V. 2001 |
