Malignant Melanoma of Mucosal Sites,as has varied from 0,2% to 8% of all melanomas seen, with an approximate average in reported series of 2%. At the City of Hope National Medical Center, over a period of 13 years, we have seen 7 melanomas of mucosal sites compared to 469 melanomas of cutaneous or ocular origin (1.5%).
