Boolean-based mathematics,ogue of the distance function is the symmeric difference .. As was seen in BFE, Chapter 14, Boolean analysis replaces the real line by a Boolean algebra, while the functions dealt with are Boolean functions.

Decomposition of Boolean functions,an arbitrary truth function by means of other (convenient) truth functions. In BFE, Chapter 16, §1, we have reported a few methods and results in this line of research. We strongly suggest that this field deserves a separate monograph.
