Introduction: Reading the Bible and Latinx Migrations/the Bible as Text(s) of Migration, produced by and implicated in human migrations. In this regard, the Christian Bible is presented as a collection of texts produced by migrants, engaged by migrants, but also implicated in the creation of the borders and power structures that migrants must cross.

I suggest they still can, but this requires a model of interpretation that gives primacy to the reader and accounts for the complex factors of migratory experiences, including women’s experiences, in the world in front of the text.
