Application of Laser Produced Plasmas for Controlled Thermonuclear Fusionng not too much loss of plasma by the blow-off process. The Lawson criterion of fusion can be reached within a factor 3. The laser intensities should be below 10. W/cm. and of about 0.1 to 10 nsec length.
