Conservative books base their interpretations on focused stellar winds, ejected "bullets", black-hole central engines, and in-situ upgrading of electron energies via shocks. This volume, however, attempts a uniform interpretation of the bipolar-flow family, involving extremely relativistic pair plasma as the jet substance, and rotating magnets (possibly burning disks) as the central engines. Among the discussed sources are SS 433, YSO jets, planetary nebulae, our galactic center, and the class of extragalactic QSOs, both radio-loud and radio-quiet. | 出版日期 | Conference proceedings 1996 | 关键词 | Accretion; Bipolar-Flow Family; Bipolare Flüsse; Brennende Scheben; Burning Disks; Jet formation; Jets; Pla | 版次 | 1 | doi | https://doi.org/10.1007/BFb0102591 | isbn_softcover | 978-3-662-14074-1 | isbn_ebook | 978-3-540-49953-4Series ISSN 0075-8450 Series E-ISSN 1616-6361 | issn_series | 0075-8450 | copyright | Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 1996 |
