Inka Culture and Quechua Language,iew that existed throughout the Tawantinsuyo. This chapter will introduce certain Quechua terms, and doing so will help greatly to embrace the logic of life in space and time in Inka culture. Main principles of life such as Ayni, Kawsaypacha, Iskaynintin, Mit’a, Minka, Masintin, Yanantin, and Tinkuy will be explored (Fig. 4.1).

Archaeoastronomy,ime, though, as such orientations have been found with respect to many aspects of society and culture. This chapter is an overview of some astronomical concepts and understanding these scientific basics is also necessary to fully comprehend Inka astronomy and cosmovision.

But by growing up here, by knowing the traditions, and by understanding and experiencing the worldview of the Inkas, Milton has gathered information otherwise lost due to the Spaniards (Fig. 9.1).
