Summary and Future Directions: Trajectories of Romantic Relationships and Self-concept Change,reveal how relationship-induced self-concept change can occur at any time before, during, or after a romantic relationship. We also consider how different types of changes to the self can wax and wane through the time course of a relationship. Overall, we highlight advances in the literature and identify avenues for future research.
