A Sensor-Based Human Activity Recognition System via Restricted Boltzmann Machine and Extended SpacRBM) and extended space forest (ESF) algorithms are combined in a suitable manners to generate accurate and diverse classifiers. The system conducts experiments on two real-world activity recognition data sets and the results show the effectiveness of the proposed system.

Exploiting the SEM Framework for Modeling Smart Cities, SEM allows the design of such systems by offering two different perspective focusing on functional and data requirements. This paper aims at showing the effectiveness of SEM by exploiting the framework for the design of a case study referring to a realized Smart City application developed in the city of Cosenza, Italy.

Congestion Control in Lan-to-Lan Connections,h variations of the resulting network with the ns2 software. The simulations are carried out over different scenarios and are compared to the results of real end-to-end network. Several recommendations and conclusions shown by the research are included as well as ideas regarding future work.
